Sarah Gwilliam is a purpose-driven corporate social responsibility leader with over ten years of experience helping organizations to identify, build, and communicate their social impact and sustainability.
In 2020, Sarah supported Meteorite by launching Election Day of Service and engaging more than 165 Civic Alliance member companies in recruiting a new generation of poll workers, offering offices and arenas as polling places, and donating PPE to election officials ahead of the November elections. Previously, Sarah helped lead the non-partisan midterm campaign #VoteTogether out of Civic Nation. As Director of Partnerships, Sarah brought corporate partners into the civic engagement space and threw thousands of election day parties at polling places across the country.
Outside of civics, Sarah was the Managing Director at RFBinder, helping establish their Social Impact and Sustainability practice and has consulted independently for a number of years. Sarah has worked with brands such as JCPenney, Caesars Entertainment, Lands' End, and Blink Fitness (Equinox) across issues including SDGs, sustainable operations, diversity and gender equity, nonprofit partnerships and cause marketing.
Sarah began her career as a Foreign Service Officer with USAID, and holds an M.A. in Sustainable Development from the School for International Training and a B.A. in Global Studies from The College of William and Mary.
