Driven by the desire for social change, Naomi Leight-Giveon is an entrepreneur with expertise in taking new ideas from inception to profitability with real-world social impact. She has over 15 years of experience in utilizing strategic planning, advocacy, communications, and community building for solution-oriented business and nonprofit ventures as well as government and academic programs.
In 2021, Naomi joined Meteorite with the launch of the Business Action on Childhood Vaccination Initiative of the Health Action Alliance. Previously, Naomi founded Wiggle & Work, an on-demand coworking with child care space in Los Angeles, CA. As a small business owner, she helped thousands of working parents further their professional dreams by providing a flexible and affordable space to both work and stay close to their young children.
Prior to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Naomi served as Foreign Policy and Diplomacy Service Officer for the Consulate General of Canada in Los Angeles where she advocated for Canadian governmental, economic and cultural interests in Southern California and Nevada.
Naomi’s diplomatic career began as Assistant Director for Research & Publications at the USC Center on Public Diplomacy (CPD), where she directed research in areas of water diplomacy and international broadcasting. She holds an M.A. in Public Diplomacy from the Annenberg School for Communications at the University of Southern California and a B.A. in International Relations from American University.
